Our Spiritual Hunger And Prayers For Revival - Part 5

Part five of our prayer series

OUR SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND PRAYERS FOR REVIVAL PART 5

Lord we come before You desiring to continually offer to You the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to You. (see Hebrews 13:15). For You are worthy. We are hungry and thirsty for You. May it be as it says in Your word “... I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (2 Cor. 6:16KJV) Dwell in us. Walk in us. Walk among us. Be our God. We are Yours.

We cry; “... Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” (Hebrews 1:8KJV)Your throne, oh God, is forever and ever. You are great and exalted.  What is man that You are mindful of us and yet we are Your children. Lead us and guide us as we walk through this wilderness. We have no continuing city here. We come to you outside of the camp. (see Hebrews 13:13).  We come boldly, as You have told us to do, to Your throne of grace; “... that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16KJV).  We need Your mercy and grace. Help us and all of Your Church to imitate those; “... who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12KJV). We thank You Lord that You are; “....able to save [a]to the uttermost...” (Hebrews 7:25NKJ Footnote[a] completely or forever) and that You always live to make intercession for us. (see Hebrews 7:25). We are praying to You and You are also praying for us. Keep praying to Your Father, our Father for us, we need this. Keep praying for Your Church.  Lord we look to You for the victory. We look to You for revival. We choose not to cast away our confidence; “...which has great reward.” ( Heb 10:35NKJ)

Lord will You give endurance to Your Church in this hour that after we have done Your will we; “...might receive the promise.” (Hebrews 10:36KJV). Help us to; “ ... hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, ...”  (Hebrews 10:23NKJ)    Help us, amoung ourselves; “...to stir up love and good works,”   (Hebrews 10:24NKJ). Lord we pray for Your Church that You would bring us to full age and that we could eat solid food, not just milk. And that we could; “...discern both good and evil.”  (Hebrews 5:14NKJ) Lord all thing have been put under Your feet. (See Hebrews 2:8).  It was Your purpose that through death You; “... might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:14-15KJV).  Lord will You destroy the devil and his forces before us? Will You release more and mores souls who are in bondage?

Help us Lord to use Your word which; “...is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”   (Hebrews 4:12KJV)  We thank You Lord that You can  sympathize with our weakness, having been tempted Yourself.(See Heb 4:15NKJ)  Please strengthen Your Church in this hour. Help us to be over-comers. May we all enter Your rest. (See Heb 4:9-11)May we all live by faith.  May we all glorify You. May we walk in the victory that You have won. May we all hold fast to our confession.  Put Your laws into our minds and write them in our hearts, be our God. We will be Your people. (see Hebrews 8:10).

We ask Lord, for revival, and for a transformation of  Your Church.  We ask believing that You are, and that You are;”...a rewarder of those who diligently seek...”  You. (see Hebrews 11:6NKJ).  We embrace Your promises Lord and confess that we are; “...strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”( Hebrews 11:13KJV).  We are; “...surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,...” (Hebrews 12:1NKJ) Help us, help Your Church to; “... lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” (Hebrews 12:1NKJ)  We are looking to You Jesus; “...the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, ...” (Hebrews 12:2NKJ Footnotes [a] originator [b] perfecter). We look to You for direction. We look to You for revival. We look to You for strength. We look to You for victory. We look to You for grace and mercy in our time of need.  Encourage and enliven Your Church Lord. We; “...are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we [a]may serve...”(Hebrews 12:28NKJ Footnote [a]M omits may) You Lord; “...acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” (Hebrews 12:28NKJ)  Lord Jesus You are; “...the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Heb 13:8KJV) Thank You that You will never leave us nor forsake us (See Heb 13:5); “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” (Hebrews 13:6KJV)

Lord we believe that there is blessing for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. We hunger and thirst before You. May we be filled as Your word says. (see Matthew 5:6) We look to You God; “..., the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. You understanding is unsearchable. You give power to the weak, and to those who have no might You increase strength. (see Isa.40:28-29NKJ).  Increase our strength Lord. We need You to move in us and through us.
